Over the past twenty years Fresco Books has designed and published a range of award-winning art books that examine both historic and contemporary artists in various regions of the United States, producing unique books for artists, galleries, and museums throughout the country. Fresco was founded in response to the need in the Santa Fe art community for beautifully designed art books produced within a time frame that keeps the project fresh and enjoyable.
Fresco manages the project from start to finish, provides design, production services, and on-site press checks, advising the client along the way in making decisions crucial to creating an excellent book. Fresco co-owner/designer is on press in Italy for every project to ensure the highest quality and accurate color. Fresco books are printed in beautiful Padova, thirty minutes from Venice, Italy. Artists are encouraged to join the publishers on press for the memorable experience of the printing of their book.
